the onsen and the huge room we had
breakfast - a bit crowded and most of the food is cold. No egg station for making hot sizzling japanese omelette.

Business hotel vibes.
The staff were very helpful and ready to answer our questions. There was a small but serviceable onsen on the ground floor.
Parking was provided free at a 2 storey carpark just opposite the hotel. The metal structure was really tiny so it was quite scary to maneuver my car up the slope. The lots were also cramped. The doors to the room slam shut each time we let go of them. It was quite loud too. The rooms also had a mild smoky odour to them and the facilities were definitely old.

Breakfast was good and in a spacious ballroom-like hall. Car parking is nearby and charges were fair (500 yen per day). Our room was spacious. There is a laundry facility available, an important factor when we book our hotels.
Staff not very friendly. They seemed to prefer the locals. Our friend and our son, who each had their own rooms (as singles) on a different floor had problems with their hot water heating up, it took a very long time. Their rooms were also small.
